Thousands shared the gospel. Now Italy is next

Dear Friend,

In our experience, we've seen time and again that when the nations gather, God moves. During the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, we saw this incredible truth firsthand.

The IMB had missionaries present at the games, partnering directly with local Parisian believers for outreach and follow-up. Their ministry team — using strategic tools like handing out Olympic pins to spark conversations and distributing Bibles and the Gospel of John — saw tremendous fruit.

As one gospel worker shared: "We had the opportunity to share the gospel with people from all over the world, such as Germans, Australians, Thai and British. The world came to Paris, and God used this opportunity for our church team to share the gospel with the nations."

In just a few short weeks, teams were able to have thousands of gospel conversations. Many came to faith, and the local church was energized to follow up! We have the opportunity again this winter.

The 2026 Winter Olympics creates a rare, strategic window to fulfill the Great Commission without crossing a single border. Thousands of athletes and spectators from over 90 nations — including many otherwise closed to missionaries — will gather in one place.

We simply cannot miss this chance to be present and watch God work again.

As we enter the final days of our campaign, we invite you to prayerfully consider giving a gift to ensure missionaries are on the ground at the Olympics when the nations arrive. Will you give today to help us reach the lost at the 2026 Winter Olympics?

In Christ,
