In 2025, Word on Fire launched the Master of Arts in Evangelization & Culture in partnership with The Catholic University of America, Bishop Barron's alma mater. Last November, we introduced the Master's Scholarship Fund to help priests who feel called to this degree but cannot afford the cost. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, the response to this new initiative has been remarkably successful, and we would like to keep the momentum going.
The Master of Arts in Evangelization & Culture equips the next generation of Catholic evangelists and cultural leaders with rigorous academic formation, immersion in the Church's intellectual tradition, and practical tools for evangelizing a secular, tech-shaped world. It blends deep theological study with pastoral preparation, forming evangelists who can meet today's challenges with clarity, creativity, and conviction.
Yet for many priests, the financial burden remains a barrier. Most simply cannot cover tuition on their own.
