New St. Francis of Assisi prayer cards
Dear Friend,
Tomorrow, the Church will celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, an Italian mystic and friar of the 12th century, and the founder of the Franciscan Order. St. Francis bore the stigmata and is known for his ministry to the poor and underprivileged, as well as his care for animals and nature.
This past January, Pope Leo XIV declared a Jubilee Year honoring the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi. Once a wealthy businessman enamored with the latest fashions, Francis and his disciples relinquished all worldly possessions in favor of radical poverty, simplicity of life, begging for alms, the preaching of repentance, and total trust in divine providence.
This year, Word on Fire designed beautiful St. Francis gold foil prayer cards. In appreciation for your support today, we will send you a set of prayer cards. For a gift of $100, you will receive a hardcover copy of the book The Pivotal Players. And for a gift of $150, you will receive the book and lifetime digital access to the 12 episodes of The Pivotal Players series.

Thank you for considering a gift to Word on Fire in honor of St. Francis, a great preacher who so fully lived out the faith he proclaimed. In evangelizing our own culture today, may we, too, trust in the Father’s providence, embrace the radicality of life in the Spirit, and attract others with the peace and joy of Christ. St. Francis, pray for us!
God bless you,
The Word on Fire Team |
