The Emmy Awards are tonight

•

Television's biggest night has finally arrived. The 78th edition of the Emmys starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET, with red carpet coverage – which, let's be honest, is the real main event – beginning at 5 p.m. ET. (Speaking of, check out our Style Meter! ) Our Entertainment team will be all over the event; follow their coverage on-site, on Instagram and on TikTok. In the meantime, here's who our staff think will win, and should win.

NFL season is in full swing

•

If you're not an Emmys person, Monday Night Football kicks off tonight with the Broncos taking on the Chiefs in Kansas City at 8:15 p.m. ET. We then roll into Week 2 with a Bills-Lions "Thursday Night Football" matchup, also at 8:15 p.m. ET, from the Bills' brand-new stadium. See who your team takes on next.

Primaries are wrapping up

•

The First State will hold one of the country's last primaries on Tuesday. While Delaware incumbents U.S. Sen. Chris Coons and U.S. Rep. Sarah McBride face little serious opposition in their reelection bids, the race is a fitting bookend to a month that started similarly in Massachusetts, then ramped up in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Countdown to midterms: 50 days.

The Fed may raise interest rates

•

The Federal Reserve has kept interest rates unchanged at 3.5% to 3.75% so far this year. But with inflation rising in August, economists say it is possible policymakers will hike rates Wednesday — though it may be a close call. If rates are raised, it'd be the first increase in more than three years. Here's what it could mean for your finances.

Fall TV is back! Here's what to watch

•	"Dancing With The Stars" kicks off its 35th season with a two-night premiere on Tuesday and Wednesday! Here's who is competing for Mirrorball glory.
•	For my fellow Bravo fans, the latest season of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" also premieres on Wednesday. While you wait, check out this interview we did with Lisa Barlow.
•	And, finally, "The Traitors" is back with its civilian season, New Blood, on Thursday. Get to know the new cast before the premiere.
