Revealing the details of “The Wisdom Literature” cover

The Word on Fire Bible (Volume VI): The Wisdom Literature is currently in production. We look forward to keeping our supporters updated as it continues to develop.
Today, we are excited to reveal the symbolism within the exquisite cover of this new volume.

The cover design features the lyre of David, traditionally recognized as the author of the Psalms, and a tree of life. The book of Proverbs says, “Happy are those who find wisdom. . . . She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her” (Prov 3:13, 18). The integration of these two—the lyre and the tree—highlights the connection of wisdom and blessing throughout the wisdom literature. Surrounding the tree are images suggesting the entirety of God’s creation, from the waters below to the heavens above, illustrating the great prayer of Psalm 148, which calls upon all things to praise the Lord.
