Breakout Players to Know: Top CFB QBs name the players ready to be household names

Deuce Alexander, Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Payton Pierce

Thibodaux, Louisiana, played host to the Manning Passing Academy, and On3's Wilson Alexander caught up with several power conference starting quarterbacks to get their pick for a breakout star this offseason.

CJ Carr, Notre Dame: “I think Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is going to have a year that won’t shock anyone around Notre Dame. He’s one of the best defensive players in the country, in my opinion. He has battled through an injury with the ACL, but he’s a really good football player.”

Julian Sayin, Ohio State: “I think we have a couple. I’ve been talking about Payton Pierce, our Mike linebacker. He’s going to be a really good player this year. Not a breakout year, but I think Jaylen McClain’s going to have a great year."
