Agnus Dei prayer cards
Dear Friend,
Tomorrow, we gather to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, traditionally known as Corpus Christi. This beautiful feast is a joyful opportunity for us to honor the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
While Holy Thursday focuses on the institution of the Eucharist in a more somber setting, tomorrow is a day of public, joyful adoration, where we celebrate the gift of our eucharistic Lord who remains with us always.
To support our ongoing ministry and help us continue our mission, we invite you to make a special donation today. As a token of our appreciation for your generosity, we will send you a 20-pack of these beautiful Agnus Dei prayer cards. These cards are designed to help you and your loved ones deepen your devotion to the Lamb of God in your daily prayer life.

The history of this feast is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Church, having been instituted in 1264 by Pope Urban IV following the visions of St. Juliana of Liège. It is a day marked by magnificent eucharistic processions and the timeless hymns composed by St. Thomas Aquinas, such as the Pange Lingua and Tantum Ergo. By participating in these traditions, we publicly testify to our faith and give thanks for the Blessed Sacrament that sustains us.
There are many ways you can enter more deeply into this celebration tomorrow. We encourage you to participate in your local parish’s eucharistic procession, a powerful public witness of our faith. You might also spend an hour in adoration, reflecting on the great mystery of the real presence, perhaps by praying the Anima Christi. Additionally, consider spreading the word by inviting a friend or family member to attend Mass or a procession with you, sharing the joy of this great solemnity with others.
As we prepare our hearts for this great feast, we ask for your continued support of our mission. Your contributions allow us to share the beauty of our faith and maintain the vital work of this ministry. Please consider making a donation today to help us move forward in our service to the Church and this community.
Wishing you a blessed Feast of Corpus Christi.
God bless you,
The Word on Fire Team
