Friends,
I’m thrilled to share that Word on Fire has now sold and distributed over 100,000 copies of The Story of All Stories: A Story Bible for Young Catholics.
This stunning five-hundred-page book is filled with full-color illustrations and captivating storytelling.
It’s designed especially for kids ages seven to thirteen—that crucial stage when their minds and hearts are opening wide and they’re ready to go deeper into the faith.
Now, the Bible, of course, is the greatest story ever told, but too often young people only encounter it in fragments.
What The Story of All Stories does is present salvation history as one sweeping narrative from Creation to Christ to the early Church, helping kids to see the big picture of God’s plan and where they fit into it.
Emily Stimpson Chapman, a master storyteller, brings seventy-five biblical narratives to life with lyrical, vivid prose.
Every chapter is enriched with the voices of the Church—saints, mystics, popes, and Church Fathers—so children learn not just the stories themselves but how the Church has always understood them.
One of this book’s most unique features is how it highlights biblical typology, showing how Old Testament events and figures point forward to Jesus, Mary, the sacraments, and the Church. These connections will light up the whole Bible for young readers.
Additionally, the artwork is absolutely gorgeous and enchanting. The illustrations invite children to linger over each page and to see the beauty of God’s story.
Friends, our goal with this project is bold.
We want to share The Story of All Stories with hundreds of thousands of children, hopefully even millions.
I encourage you to get a copy for your family, and maybe another for a family member or friend, then help us spread the news.
Let’s give the next generation the gift of God’s story, which is The Story of All Stories.
May God richly bless you,
|
