Recapping Trump's combative State of the Union

President Donald Trump delivered a marathon State of the Union address Tuesday evening that comes as polls show deep skepticism of his leadership. The president said his administration is engaged in unprecedented levels of "winning," declared the country is booming, his opponents are "crazy" and inflated his track record on ending wars. His attacks to his opposition signaled a bitter upcoming midterm election cycle .

US men's hockey was present. The chamber applauded the gold-medal winners. Five players didn't attend.
Dems rebuttal: Some protested as Trump spoke. Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger delivered the Democratic response and Sen. Alex Padilla, D-California, issued his own rebuttal in Spanish.
