Support our mission and receive St. Thomas Aquinas gifts
| Dear Friend,
Today, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas, an Italian Dominican priest from the thirteenth century and a Doctor of the Church best known for his brilliant and insightful Summa theologiae.
In his book The Pivotal Players, Bishop Barron said, "Thomas Aquinas's contribution to the Church and to Western culture in general has been so massive that it is exceedingly difficult to get a grip on him. He was a philosopher, a scientist, a Scripture commentator, a theologian, a mystic, and in all things, a saint. Thomas was deeply in love with Jesus Christ. He was a spiritual master, and his writings were designed to lead people on the road to Christ."
Aquinas is a favorite saint and personal hero of Bishop Barron for having greatly inspired his spiritual and theological journey since his youth. Along with St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Thomas Aquinas is one of the patron saints of Word on Fire. On his feast day, will you make a gift to expand our efforts to draw people into—or back to—the Catholic faith?

Bishop Barron continues, "Thomas Aquinas boldly asks all of the questions, including the fundamental question of whether there is a God. The great harmony between faith and reason that was substantiated in the writings of St. Thomas assures us that reason poses no threat to religion where reason and religion are authentically understood."
It is only thanks to our generous donors that Word on Fire can continue proclaiming Christ in the culture. Thank you for considering a donation today to support our mission. St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us!
God bless you, The Word on Fire Team
