Thank you for remembering the ones the world has abandoned.
I want to share something with you that is very close to our heart at Equipping the Persecuted. |
|
| Right now, across Nigeria, there are over 1,000 widows under our care—women who lost their husbands to Islamic terror from the Fulani Ethnic Militia. Many were left with nothing: no income, no protection, and no clear path forward.
These women are not statistics. They are mothers. Grandmothers. Believers who have endured unspeakable loss and yet continue to trust the Lord. |
|
Today, I’m inviting you to watch a short documentary we’ve just completed about our Widow Care Ministry. It shows what life actually looks like for these women—and how your support is restoring dignity, stability, and hope. |
|
For many of these widows, basic aid is the difference between survival and starvation. Through your generosity, we are providing:
- Monthly food assistance
- Medical care
- Safe housing support
- Community and pastoral care
But we also believe compassion must go beyond relief. |
|
The Esther Initiative:
That’s why we launched the Esther Initiative: a vocational training program designed specifically for widows. Through this initiative, women are learning practical skills that allow them to earn income, support themselves and their children, and rebuild their lives with dignity. This is not dependency. This is restoration. |
| |
| Scripture tells us that caring for widows is pure and undefiled religion before God. We take that command seriously.
Today I ask you to stand with these sisters in Christ by generously giving. Your gift helps ensure that no widow under our care is forgotten—and that each one has a path toward stability and hope. |
|
Thank you for standing with the persecuted. Thank you for remembering the ones the world has abandoned.
For His glory, Judd |
