Some of our favorites include the family drama thriller "Broken Country" by Clare Leslie Hall, Meta tell-all "Careless People" by Sarah Wynn-Williams and the hilariously unhinged "Hot Air" by Marcy Dermansky.  Carrie Coon in Season 3 of "The White Lotus." But never fear – we've got a list of eight books similar to Mike White's juicy HBO show with drama, gossip, badly-behaved tourists and murder mystery. I can't help but think of the queen of twisty characters herself, Liane Moriarty. "Nine Perfect Strangers" is one of my favorite books – a very "White Lotus" story of a luxury health resort and the intriguing guests and hosts that become intertwined there. Another is "Saltwater" by Katy Hays, which follows a 30-year "accidental" death of an old-money heiress ripped wide open after the necklace she was wearing the night she died reappears. Or, check out "Bad Summer People" by Emma Rosenblum, which is filled with infidelity, back-stabbing and murder in an exclusive summer enclave. That's all for this week! Happy reading.
