Deported Maryland man's return delayed | The Supreme Court on Monday placed a hold on a judge's order that required the Trump administration to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador, by the end of the day. The decision from Chief Justice John Roberts will give the court more time to review the case. He ordered lawyers in the case to respond by 5 p.m. Tuesday. On Friday, a federal district judge had ruled that the government acted illegally in expelling Abrego Garcia and gave it until the end of Monday to bring him back. 👉 How an "administrative error" led to Abrego Garcia's deportation. |
