Let's take a quick look back at what Republicans have been up to during the past few weeks.

Have you ever taken time off and just unplugged from the news? We mean just really not pay attention to things and live your best life free of the usual noise. It's a rare thing, but that's what columnist Rex Huppke did when he decided to take a break during the holidays and leave the rest of us to do work stuff.

So you can imagine his surprise when he came back and tried to catch up on what he missed. Specifically, we're talking about what he missed from Republicans. Thankfully he decided to also write about it.
