Honestly, today should be a holiday

The Monday after the super bowl just hits different.  I'm tired but wide awake. I can't stop looking at social media for all reactions to the halftime show and commercials and the Philidelphia fans turning over cars. 

Honestly, I needed today off work...and I didn't even watch the game or the commercials, or the halftime show. So I can't imagine what those of you who watched all that must be feeling today while you attend super important meetings and just go about your day. 

I'm pretty sure you'd like today to be a national holiday, though. So does USA TODAY Columnist Rex Huppke, who wrote about that very thing.

The Monday after the Super Bowl Sunday should be a holiday. Either that or move the game to Saturday. End the national nightmare of Misery Monday.
