@blinfisher

Good morning and Happy Friday! This is Betty Lin-Fisher with Friday's consumer-focused edition of The Daily Money.

Consumer boycotts are continuing this week, with two new ones: A 40-day boycott or Target Fast started on Wednesday with the beginning of Lent. Some leaders in the Black faith community are calling on their followers to protest Target's retreat from diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

And a one-week boycott of Amazon also starts Friday. It's the follow-up to the People's Union USA's one-day economic blackout last Friday, Feb. 28.

Did that one-day effort work? Here's what some data shows.
