After several world leaders, including President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump, announced a ceasefire and hostage agreement between Israel and Hamas on Wednesday, there has been a delay for Israel's Cabinet to officially approve the truce. |
What's happening? Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Hamas of trying to "extort last-minute concessions," without giving further details on what those concessions are. Israel's Cabinet has delayed a vote on the truce. The three-stage agreement, which includes a ceasefire and the release of 33 hostages held by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, was expected to begin Sunday. What the lawsuit says: Baldoni, in a federal lawsuit filed Thursday, accuses Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion. The lawsuit also repeatedly slams Lively for alleged on-set behavior. |
