Biden surveys Hurricane Helene destruction |
With the death toll reaching 200 and at least one million still without power across five states, President Joe Biden this week has made his way to states ravaged by Hurricane Helene. On Thursday, Biden met with victims in Perry, Florida, whose lives were upended after the storm. The visit comes after he made a stop in Greenville, S.C., and took an aerial tour of the devastation in nearby Asheville, N.C., on Wednesday. Read more. |
