Can we be honest here? Like, let's just say it. Americans are not super excited about a Joe Biden, Donald Trump rematch. 

There are several polls out there that make it pretty clear. And yet, that's very likely what the country is going to get in 2024 since neither appears prepared to walk away. 

So what does that mean for the country and why are these two still the options we have? Columnist Ingrid Jaques has some thoughts in her latest column, which is one of several we posted on Biden announcing his intent to seek re-election.
