Why is Trump headed to PA?

President Donald Trump is taking his economic message on the road Tuesday, giving a speech at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania.

The visit to the working-class town in a battleground state comes as the White House and Republicans struggle with their response to affordability concerns of Americans.

Despite Trump's effort to downplay economic concerns, Wilkes University political science professor Kyle Kreider told USA TODAY the president's trip is a sign that Republicans are worried about the midterm elections.

•	Republicans – and Trump – face another test. The fight to fill Miami's mayor office comes to a head Tuesday evening during a special runoff election.
•	USA TODAY Network covers redistricting: Indiana's mid-decade redistricting efforts would likely eliminate all Democratic representation in the state's congressional delegation. Now, the fate of the bill rests upon the Indiana Senate, which could vote on the map Thursday if it survives committee testimony.
•	"WE ARE ALL still celebrating Juneteenth and MLK Day": Americans will no longer get free admission to the country's national parks in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth, but will for President Trump's birthday — and people have opinions.

No. 3 Florida State defeated No. 1 overall seed Stanford 1-0 in the Women's College Cup on Monday at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It is the Seminoles' third national title in five years and fifth overall. Florida State weathered an offensive attack from Stanford, who entered Monday's championship with a nation-best 96 goals, 25 more goals than the next closest team.

Golden Globes don't go Ozian

In perhaps the most shocking snub of this year's Golden Globe nominations, the "Wicked" sequel was omitted from the Globes' best musical or comedy category, in favor of surprise nominations for Richard Linklater's "Blue Moon" and "Nouvelle Vague." These are the most surprising names who will be sitting out next month's show (including Sydney Sweeney).
