More troops and armored vehicles deployed to southern border |
As many as 3,000 additional troops with armored vehicles were deployed by the Pentagon to the southern border. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth , at the direction of President Donald Trump, ordered a Stryker Brigade Combat Team and an aviation battalion to a border security mission.
