More troops and armored vehicles deployed to southern border

As many as 3,000 additional troops with armored vehicles were deployed by the Pentagon to the southern border. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth , at the direction of President Donald Trump, ordered a Stryker Brigade Combat Team and an aviation battalion to a border security mission. The new troops add to the U.S. military's growing presence on the border. Read more.

Elon Musk asks Trump to get out of his office… in 'SNL' cold open

One of the five things that Elon Musk can list in what he accomplished last week – being parodied on "Saturday Night Live." Musk, portrayed by Canadian comedian Mike Myers, rushed into the "Oval Office" with a chainsaw during a heated meeting between Trump, portrayed by "SNL" cast member James Austin Johnson, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, played by cast member Mikey Day. After playfully holding the chainsaw above Trump, I mean, Johnson's head, Myers' Musk quipped: "Donald, what are you doing in my office? You know, I'm the president, right?"  Read more.
