FBI Director Christopher Wray to resign amid criticism from President-elect Trump

FBI Director Christopher Wray was appointed by Donald Trump in 2017, but he's not sticking around for the president-elect's next term. Wray will resign next month at the end of President Joe Biden's term after key Senate Republicans have called for him to step aside and Trump has chosen a successor for his next administration. Who would replace Wray? Trump has already picked Kashyap "Kash" Patel. Patel, an ardent Trump supporter who has threatened to investigate Trump's political enemies. Patel is being praised by Republican lawmakers.

President Biden says it was 'stupid' not to put name on COVID checks like Trump did

President Joe Biden wished he took one page out of Donald Trump's playbook: putting his signature on COVID stimulus checks sent to Americans. Both Trump and Biden sent stimulus checks to Americans at the height of the COVID-19. Biden did not have his signature included on his $1,400 stimulus check that was part of the American Rescue Plan because he did not want to delay payment. Read more.

Did Donald Trump Jr. and longtime fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle break up?

Uh-oh. Looks like President-elect Donald Trump's oldest son and his former TV personality fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, are splitsville. Donald Trump Jr. was spotted Monday night in Palm Beach, Florida, holding hands with local socialite Bettina Anderson. Hours later though, Trump nominated Guilfoyle as his pick for ambassador to Greece. Read more.

Guilfoyle, a longtime ally who campaigned extensively with Donald Trump, said she was "honored" to accept the nomination to serve as ambassador.
