Trump gunman spotted 90 minutes before shooting, texts show

Text messages obtained by ABC News indicate that the gunman who shot former President Donald Trump drew the attention of a sniper over 90 minutes before the shooting — more than a half-hour earlier than previously reported. A sniper leaving the area where local SWAT members assembled texted the others that he saw the would-be shooter sitting around "50 yards from the exit." Sniper team member Gregory Nicol told "Good Morning America" he saw the shooter take a rangefinder from his pocket about an hour before the shooting, prompting him to call in a suspicious presence warning. The shooter opened fire shortly after 6 p.m., killing a rally attendee, wounding Trump in the ear and critically injuring two other men. ➡ Read the newest details on the shooting.

Biden pushes for SCOTUS changes: 'No one is above the law'

President Joe Biden is using his final six months in office to push sweeping reforms to the Supreme Court, including a constitutional amendment that would limit immunity for presidents and impose term limits for justices. In an op-ed in The Washington Post, Biden said "no one is above the law." However, don't expect Biden to call for a bigger Supreme Court packed with Democratic picks to balance out the conservative supermajority that overturned Roe v. Wade, scaled back gun control laws, and raised questions about the future of same-sex marriage. 👉 More on Biden's proposed Supreme Court changes.
