This week, the online giant began offering Hyundai vehicles on Amazon.com, the company's first foray into car sales as it competes with the likes of Carvana and CarMax. |
Customers simply check out the inventory on Amazon, select the trim and options and hit checkout. After adding Hyundai to your shopping cart, you can make a down payment and sign all the paperwork. No haggling. |
Customers can pick up the car at the dealer, typically in a couple of days. |
One caveat: Dealers have to sign up for the program. |
Iowa man wins $250,000 from scratch-off lottery |
An Iowa man won $250,000 after shelling out $20 on the Iowa Lottery's Payline scratch game. Jaime Hakes of Lake Mills bought his ticket at Kum & Go in Northwood. |
Two days earlier, Valerie Musgrove of Bloomfield claimed a $20,000 prize from another scratch game, the "$20,000 Crossword." |
Musgrove told the Iowa lotter she thought she had won $2,000. |
"But then I checked it again last night and I found out I had 10 words and that was $20,000," she said. |

Blendjet is recalling about 5 million of its BlendJet 2 blenders after reports of overheating that caused property damage and injury, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. |
