Hi there OnPolitics readers! The House is expected to vote on whether to expel embattled New York Rep. George Santos tomorrow.

🔄 We've been here before: Santos survived two earlier expulsion attempts as lawmakers deferred to the House Ethics Committee to conclude their investigation into the Republican.

🔍 What's different about this push? Efforts to expel Santos reignited after the House Ethics Committee released their long-awaited report into his alleged misconduct on the campaign trail. The report found substantial evidence that Santos improperly used campaign funds for his own personal and financial benefit, USA TODAY's Ken Tran reports.

Santos is also facing a slate of federal charges centering around fraud allegations, though he has denied wrongdoing. He has also admitted to lying about his resume.

How has Santos responded? The New York lawmaker has refused to resign and vowed to take his expulsion in stride, telling reporters: "If I leave, they win. If I leave, the bullies take place. This is bullying."
