Talking Tech: This is the app Americans most want to delete

What's the app Americans want to delete more than any other? It's not Facebook. Guess TikTok? Wrong. What about Snapchat? Nope. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Talking Tech

Thursday, March 16

Hello, Talking Tech readers! It's Brett Molina back again.

This isn't your ordinary Thursday. It's the official start of March Madness. For my fellow basketball lovers, welcome to the most wonderful time of the year.

Let's get to the big tech news of the week.

Drumroll, please: What's the app Americans want to delete more than any other? It's not Facebook. Guess TikTok? Wrong. What about Snapchat? Nope.

The correct answer is Instagram.

Security website VPNOverview analyzed the internet search trends for the 30 most popular apps, and found that Instagram was the app Americans most want to delete. Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter rounded out the top four.

But don't worry about Instagram. As of Thursday, it's the sixth most popular free app on Apple's App Store.

What else happened in tech?

Big news for YouTube TV subscribers. If you plan to watch March Madness, the service is adding a multiview feature.

Biden warns TikTok. President threatens to ban the app in the U.S. if its Chinese owners don't sell stakes.

Traveling with Airtags? Here's everything you should know about using them.

T-Mobile must love Deadpool. The wireless carrier will acquire Ryan Reynolds' Mint Mobile for up to $1.35 billion.

Thursday tech tip

We here at Talking Tech love to keep you current on all internet and texting slang, because the last thing you want to see is someone replying "smh" when you don't know what a term means imo. Today's term is " mid." Plus, here's some bonus studying material for all the wrestling fans out there (thank you, MJF).

One more thing

It's St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, where everything will be awash in green. Speaking of green, want to save some money while celebrating? Check out these cool St. Patrick's Day deals

Time for tip off. Thanks for reading!
