But most notable are the prospective GOP presidential candidates who aren't attending the high-profile conference, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis, who has emerged as one of the top contenders for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, and former Vice President Mike Pence have opted to skip CPAC and attend a closed-door retreat for donors.
