Democrats went all in with abortion. Voters will soon make them pay.

Note: We accidentally sent this a little too early today. This is the correct newsletter file we meant to send.

Stacey Abrams, the Democrat who is running for governor of Georgia, recently observed that abortion is an "economic issue," and essentially said that having children is boosting inflation woes.

Her comments came off as flippant and callous, and she refused to address in more concrete terms how she would go about helping families deal with high costs – other than continuing to advocate for abortion access.

We're only one week away from the election (thank goodness), and voters remain most concerned about the economy and inflation.

Yet Democrats are still laser-focused on abortion rights, hoping they can divert attention from the economic troubles they've overseen the past two years.

Polls are showing momentum for Republicans in these final days, and as I discuss in one of my latest columns, I think Democrats have overplayed their hand on running on abortion.

Soon, we'll know.
