Good morning, Daily Money subscribers, it's Nathan Bomey coming at you again.

Hey, who among us hasn't worried about paying for college, whether it's our own tuition or our kids' classes?

You can always open up a 529 savings plan, but you actually might not have to. Investing in a plain old-fashioned high-growth exchange-traded fund could do the trick, especially if your child goes to a state school.

"If you invest $7,000, then kick in another $200 a month, and the fund delivers returns on par with what it has over the last decade, you could have more than enough to pay for your child's college tuition 10 years from now," The Motley Fool's Robin Hartill reports.

Is your financial focus on saving for retirement but your company isn't matching your 401(k) contributions? Here are five alternative ways to save for retirement.

You know what's not going to get you to retirement? Spending too much time on your phone. Here are five apps you should delete right now.

One app that recently got itself deleted from the Google and Apple app stores was Parler, the social media network for far-right users that was accused of harboring posts that encouraged the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill insurrection.

Well, Parler's CEO is no more. He says he was fired by the company's board.

See more news below.
