Former Vice President Joe Biden walked away with three more states in the race for the Democratic nomination.

Biden won all the things

It was a clean sweep for former Vice President Joe Biden, who earned decisive wins in Florida, Illinois and Arizona

Like, it wasn't even close. 

Tuesday night gave the nation the first series of primaries to take place amid the national state of emergency President Donald Trump declared over the coronavirus pandemic, a circumstance that had the potential to upend the candidates' messages as well as the technical process of running a primary election.

Jail time for former lawmaker

A federal judge Tuesday sentenced former California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter to 11 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to stealing his campaign funds and spending the money on outings with friends and his daughter's birthday party, among other things.

The ex-Marine's defense attorneys had asked for home confinement, citing his military service including fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, and his nearly six terms in Congress. Hunter resigned from Congress in January after representing one of Southern California's last solidly Republican districts.
