If you want to drink a cup of tea at the Huashan Teahouse on Mount Hua, you're going to have to put in the effort to get there. The journey starts with a 20-minute cable car ride. Next comes a hike up steep, uneven terrain and across narrow paths where a misstep could be fatal.

Surfing the Amazon River's Endless Wave

The indigenous people who live along the Amazon River in Brazil have a word for the tidal bore that rushes in the river from the Atlantic Ocean.
