"Paddleboarding was my way to tackle plastic pollution." 6/3/19 Breaking Paddleboard Records to Fight Pollution Lizzie Carr took up paddleboarding to get back in shape after undergoing treatment for cancer, and it wasn't long before she became dismayed by all the plastic pollution she saw floating in England's waterways. Soon enough, Lizzie was on plastic patrol, setting distance records in her sport while picking up trash along the way. Now she's getting communities involved in cleanup efforts all over the world.
