"They are the changemakers." 4/5/19 Giving Chicago's Youth a Fighting Chance Christopher Norwood was nine-years old when he first came to Crushers Club, a boxing gym in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. It's a place where hard work and play hold equal weight—a place where Christopher and other young people growing up amidst poverty, drug use and systemic violence can let their guards down and hold one another up.   This Great Big Story is made possible by The Chi. Richardson Gustave knows he can't pull every piece of trash from his island's shores, but in his role at The Plastic Bank, a Canada-based organization that pays people to collect plastic waste for recycling and reuse, he's doing all he can.
