The Father-Son Duo Getting a Second Wind

Father-son duo Jim and Joel Caulfield are, naturally, at different stages of life. After 26 years in the trucking industry, Jim wants to change careers, while Joel wants to start one that will let him travel the world and work with his hands. So the Caulfields are studying to become wind turbine technicians at Iowa Lakes Community College, where some of the best in the United States get their start. How's that for family bonding time?

Celebrating Japanese Christmas in Portland

Christmas is an extra sweet time of year for Mio Asaka. Through her bakeshop in Portland, Oregon, Mio brings her Japanese heritage to life through traditional holiday treats baked for all to enjoy. This year, she's got a special guest and kitchen helper in Nico Tortorella. Together, they prepare a special Christmas meal, including sushi, karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and, of course, Japanese Christmas cake. For Mio, there's no sweeter way to connect with others than through dessert.
