After a brutal confirmation fight that deeply divided the nation, Brett Kavanaugh is now a Supreme Court justice ... Protests broke out after his swearing-in, with more expected  today ... A fictional celebration of his confirmation on "SNL" took viewers inside the GOP locker room .. In Turkey, the mystery over a missing Saudi journalist deepens after reports he was killed at his nation's consulate ... While Hurricane Florence is long gone, the  damage it caused is in the billions of dollars and growing ... And it may be time to check your freezer again after a recall of ham, beef and eggs.
Got big plans today? Mike Pompeo does. The US secretary of state is due to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang. The top US diplomat also will visit Japan, South Korea and China on his Asian swing.

For our neighbors to the north, happy Thanksgiving! The holiday is Monday in Canada, where cool weather sets in sooner, meaning an earlier harvest. The detention of an American pastor in Turkey is expected to be the subject of a court hearing there Friday. Andrew Brunson, who denies espionage charges against him, has been held since 2016, most recently on house arrest. A Turkish high court in August rejected his request for release. Trump has cranked up tariffs on Turkey in an effort to win Brunson's freedom.

Dust off your fascinator: There's another royal wedding. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are set to marry Friday in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same place Prince Harry and Meghan wed. Prince Andrew and the bride's mom, Sarah Ferguson, are expected to attend, along with Prince William and Harry and their wives. The lavish nuptials are ruffling some feathers, with a petition demanding the British government refuse to foot the bill. But that's not likely to impede the two-day fête. Here's how to watch.
