In Tanzania, a Garden That Feeds Bellies and Brains

For O'Brien School for the Maasai teacher Saphi Yohana, growing a garden isn't just a nice thing to do—it's a way keep kids in the classroom. As increased droughts have struck the region of Tanzania, malnourishment has spread. By providing two veggie-based meals a day, the O'Brien School is now greeting energized, happy students each morning and sending them home to spread a passion for produce.
