Yes, you can bike on the North Pole

"Check that off the bucket list." 9/6/18

Mountain Biking in the North Pole

Professional mountain biker Darren Berrecloth has spent his career scouring the globe for the biggest and steepest trails on the planet. His latest expedition took him somewhere unexpected—the remote uninhabited island of Axel Heiberg in Canada, 40 miles south of the North Pole.

Removing the Ghosts of Hurricane Maria

Raimundo Chirinos has devoted his life and career to protecting Puerto Rico's waters. And in the wake of Hurricane Maria, his devotion matters more than ever. The storm pulled fishing gear from the island's shores into the ocean, creating "ghost traps" that catch fish and other species, disrupting the ecosystem and the local fishing economy. More determined than ever to protect his island's waters, Raimundo has hired local dive fishermen to help him locate ghost traps, creating opportunity and community in the wake of devastation.

A Love Story for the Pages

Ashley Antoinette and JaQuavis Coleman first met as teenagers in Flint, Michigan, while living in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the country. Soon, they were turning their stories together into books, writing about experiences they didn't see reflected in media. Eleven years and 44 books later, the New York Times best-selling writers remain a power couple, breaking down barriers and opening doors within the publishing industry.
