You are absolutely golden. 7/28/18 These furry fellows are golden lion tamarins at Santa Ana Zoo. Native to the southeastern coastal forests of Brazil, their signature feature is a silky, gold coat and long mane. In the 1970s, only a couple hundred tamarins were left in the wild due to habitat loss and the pet trade. Today, conservation efforts have been in effect around the world to support their populations. The Original Queen of Bounce Katey Red is iconic.
