Living in the Netherlands' Futuristic Homes

Located about an hour outside Amsterdam is a village of spherical homes straight out of your futuristic fantasies. From a distance, Bolwoningen's domes appear to be a set of golf balls, but up close, they are the architectural masterpiece of Dutch artist and sculptor Dries Kreijkamp. 

Roping With Pride in the International Gay Cowboy Association

While "Brokeback Mountain" won an Oscar, there's often still a stigma against being gay and a cattle wrangler. Fortunately, the International Gay Rodeo Association is working to change that. Their events highlight the serious riding and roping talents of LGBT cowfolks, and provide a safe, supportive and fun environment for them to pursue their passion. (P)ride on!

Football and a rags-to-riches story—perhaps the only things that America loves more than donuts. But the delectable rings of sugar and dough didn't always appear in their now-ubiquitous circular form. So where did the donut's shape (and its signature hole) come from?
