WASHINGTON, DC - APRIL 17: U.S. President Donald Trump

On Easter, Donald Trump proclaims 'NO MORE DACA DEAL!'

There was little peace on Easter Sunday morning as President Trump tweeted that a deal for Dreamers was dead, and vandals appeared to have struck at his golf course in Florida. Trump tweeted Sunday that U.S. Border Patrol Agents are unable to do their jobs because of the practice of "catch and release," in which immigrants caught without proper documentation are released as their cases wind through courts. "Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW," Trump tweeted. "NO MORE DACA DEAL!"

Chinese space station could smash into Earth today

The Chinese space station that is now hurtling through space will probably smash through the Earth's atmosphere late Sunday, experts said. The unmanned, school bus-sized Tiangong-1 should re-enter the Earth's atmosphere Sunday shortly after 8 p.m. ET, give or take two hours, according to Aerospace Corp. The European Space Agency estimated that the satellite could come down almost anywhere on the globe, although the northernmost sections of the U.S., as well as Canada, Russia and Northern Europe, appeared to be in the clear. Anyone who sees what could be debris from the space station is warned not to touch it or inhale its fumes, as it could be toxic.

Midnight strikes for Loyola-Chicago's Cinderella run

Michigan is back in the national championship game for the second time in the last six years after beating the upstarts from Loyola-Chicago 69-57 at the Alamodome, ending a remarkable season for the Ramblers. The Wolverines will play Villanova in the championship game Monday night after the Wildcats crushed Kansas 95-79. Villanova was red hot from three with 18 triples in Saturday's match up, and it's the school's  second national championship appearance in three seasons. So ... who ya got Monday?

Hundreds rally for Stephon Clark, who was killed by police

Hundreds gathered for peaceful rallies Saturday to demand justice for Stephon Clark, a 22-year-old unarmed black man who was killed by two Sacramento police officers earlier this month. Tensions escalated Saturday night when a sheriff's SUV appeared to hit a protester during a vigil, videos showed. The demonstrations come on the heels of the release of an independent autopsy that found officers shot Clark eight times, most of the bullets hitting him in the back. Retired Sacramento Kings basketball player Matt Barnes, who attended Clark's funeral Thursday, led one of the rallies at a downtown park.

Parkland survivor Hogg on Fox host Ingraham: 'A bully is a bully'

Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg says Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham is a bully and that he is unmoved by her apology after she called him out on Twitter for failing to gain admittance into some of his top college choices. Hogg told CNN he believes Ingraham apologized to stop the bleeding after several major corporations announced they would not advertise on her show, The Ingraham Angle . "The apology ... was kind of expected, especially after so many of her advertisers dropped out," Hogg said. "No matter who somebody is, no matter how big or powerful they may seem, a bully is a bully and it's important that you stand up to them." Ingraham announced Friday she would take a week off for an Easter break after advertisers began pulling support.

In Easter message, Pope calls on warring countries to 'end the carnage'

Pope Francis used his homily to lament Friday's deaths of more than a dozen Palestinians in Gaza, where he said the violence is causing "wounds of conflict that do not spare the defenseless. " He also called for an end to Syria's civil war and urged the warring parties to allow humanitarian aid to be delivered there. And he urged an end to the violence in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. "This Easter, may the light of the risen Christ illuminate the consciences of all political and military leaders so a swift end can be brought to the carnage," Francis said.

Florida students walk out in support of Second Amendment

A group of students from Rockledge High School in Brevard County, Fla., briefly walked out of class Friday to show their support for the Second Amendment. About 75 students, according to a head count by school administrators, walked onto the school's track carrying the American flag and signs that said "guns don't kill people, people kill people" and "I support the right to bear arms." The event lasted about 20 minutes and then students returned to class. One of the organizers, sophomore Chloe Deaton, said the event was meant to clear misconceptions about the Second Amendment, not support or oppose any particular political stances.
