Tbh, Melania Doesn't Look That Bad in a Boot: Parody jokester @trumpmeetstheinternet posted this (pretty awesome) image Wednesday, and I have to admit it made me, lol. Guys, if we can't laugh at that whole shoe debacle, what's wrong with us? | | Credit: @trumpmeetstheinternet/Instagram Kellyanne Conway Weighs In: On "Fox & Friends" this morning, Kellyanne Conway gave her thoughts on the brouhaha over Melania Trump's shoes (she thought it was ridiculous,) and she also commented on how the episode reflected on feminism: "By the way, she didn't wear those shoes down in Texas. She wore them onto the plane. And, by the way, she can wear whatever she wants. This is what cracks me up about the feminists. I'm a free thinker. I'm an independent. Nobody tells me what to do. They get upset if you wear a pretty dress or somebody calls me 'honey.' " I think she has an interesting point, and I get that the shoe issue became a thing because judgment about what people, especially women, wear is such a common thread throughout society. Gorka and Donald Trump Jr. Criticize the Looks of Vogue Editor: Conway might want to have a chat with former colleague Sebastian Gorka and Donald Trump Jr. Gorka tweeted about Lynn Yaeger, the eccentric-looking Vogue editor who wrote an opinion piece bashing the first lady's high heels, and this morning Trump Jr. retweeted it. | | Dress Like the First Daughter: On a trip to Missouri to support her father while he kicked off his new tax reform plan Wednesday, Ivanka Trump wore a blue floral appliqué dress from Oscar de la Renta's spring 2012 collection. | | Credit: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images; Edward James/Getty Images Since it's no longer available, I found a similar style from the current collection for $1,790. Princess Diana Died 20 Years Ago Today: She was only 36. Her tragic death in a car accident stunned much of the world. She did a lot for the HIV/AIDS community, and other causes, just by being a compassionate and loyal advocate and champion. It's nice to see her sons continuing that legacy. | | Credit: @CNNPolitics/Instagram | | What Washington Is Talking About: Following the President's speech in Missouri on tax reform Wednesday, congressional Republicans say they're in the process of drafting legislation. The breakdown of those who believe Trump is tearing the country apart by party is 93% of Democrats, 59% of independents and 15% of Republicans. | | Credit: Fox News What Harvey's Impact Would Look Like Across the Country: The Houston Chronicle mapped out how big an area the devastation in the Texas city would take up in different parts of the country. It's as large an area that covers Washington, Philadelphia, New York and the entire state of New Jersey, and basically all of Southern California. | | Credit: Houston Chronicle Car Drives Out of Woods Into Trump's Motorcade Path: It happened when Trump was in Missouri on Wednesday. Watch the video here at the 1:17 mark. Police told KCTV in Kansas City that the driver lost control in a Bass Pro warehouse parking lot and blamed it on brakes going out. Watching the footage, I'm kind of surprised at how long it took a vehicle from the motorcade to respond. Jerry Springer for Ohio governor? The race to succeed Ohio Gov. John Kasich is shaping up, and Jerry Springer is exploring a bid, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
