This is on today's cover of a Düsseldorf business newspaper that's being distributed for free at the G20. It says, "The Impossible President." | | Trump Maybe Couldn't Get a Hotel Because Saudi King's Camels :
The story about Trump not being able to secure a good hotel for the G20 because he didn't act fast enough is a good story. A better story, however, is that he couldn't stay at the Four Seasons in Hamburg because it was fully booked by Saudi Arabia's King Salman, and possibly his camels, which was reported by the German publication, Stern. I buy this version because I broke the story a couple of years ago about King Salman doing a full buyout of the Four Seasons here in Washington, all 222 rooms and suites. He had the furniture swapped out for his preferred gold accoutrements, and his feet never touched ground not covered by red carpet.

The poll also found residents were more likely to have protested if they were college graduates, made more than $100,000 a year, and lived in Wards 1 and 3 (both in Northwest). | | Why Repubs Suck at Repealing Obamacare, According to One Senator:
They've pledged for years to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and they now have control of the White House and both chambers of Congress, but Republicans still haven't done the deed. Sen. Patrick Toomey of Pennsylvania gave this explanation in an interview this week with reporters in his state: "Look, I didn't expect Donald Trump to win. I think most of my colleagues didn't, so we didn't expect to be in this situation."
Russia's Stepping Up Its Spying Efforts:
Since the election, Russia has increased its intelligence-gathering efforts in the US and has nearly 150 suspected operatives here, current and former US intelligence officials tell CNN. "The concerning point with Russia is the volume of people that are coming to the US. They have a lot more intelligence officers in the US" compared to what they have in other countries, a former intelligence official said.
