On Today's Show

On GPS at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on CNN:

First, Fareed gives his Take on President Trump's first six months in office – and why he believes the Trump presidency has, so far, been marked by missed opportunities.

Then, Fareed is live from London with a panel of experts to discuss the week's big political and international developments. Joining Fareed will be Anne Applebaum, a columnist for the Washington Post, Janan Ganesh, a Financial Times columnist and author of "George Osborne: The Austerity Chancellor," Jonathan Freedland, a columnist for The Guardian, and David Goodhart, author of "The Road to Somewhere: The Populist Revolt and the Future of Politics."

Also on the show: In June, the Supreme Court agreed to hear a case about gerrymandering -- Gill v. Whitford -- that could literally reshape the American political landscape for generations. Fareed explores in his What in the World segment.

Plus: Fareed speaks with Yuval Harari, author of "Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow," about recent advances in biotechnology and artificial intelligence – what that will mean for the human body and how we are trying to gain control of the world inside us.
