"Our whole life is solving puzzles." 7/7/17 How a Forensics Lab in Oregon Solves Crimes Against Animals The United States Fish and Wildlife Service Forensics Laboratory is the only lab in the world devoted entirely to investigating crimes against animals. Founded in 1988 by former crime scene investigator Ken Goddard, the lab could be mistaken for something out of a television show—except for the freezers full of animal corpses and flesh-eating beetles.  Living to Travel, Travelling to Live: The Adventures of Damon and Jo Damon and Jo are two young multilingual travel bloggers who are redefining what it means to connect with audiences. After television executives dismissed their pitch for a travel show, the pair became more determined than ever to share their experiences on their own terms, and did just that. In Belgium, Shrimping on Horseback for 700 Years For nearly 700 years, the shrimpers of Oostduinkerke, Belgium, have been training draft horses to help them pursue the local catch. Typically weighing more than 2,000 pounds, these horses are well suited to the task of carrying fishermen through the cold waters of the North Sea.
